Get Involved: Shape the Future of
Broadcasting with IEEE BTS
As the broadcasting industry rapidly evolves, the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society (BTS) helps you stay current and connect with colleagues worldwide. We offer virtual events on Education, Distinguished Lecturers, and BTS Conferences, while developing new webinars for Young Professionals, expanding our Resource Center, and growing our Career Site. These opportunities create a need for more volunteers to support events, projects, and committees including Publications, Chapters, Awards, Finance, and Women in Engineering (WIE).
Why Volunteer with IEEE BTS?
As part of IEEE—with over 400,000 members worldwide—the Broadcast Technology Society (BTS) offers volunteers the chance to engage with a global perspective by:
- Providing input at committee meetings to shape existing and new events
- Leading and moderating programs
- Accessing shared resources to bring concepts to life
- Facilitating connections that spark long-term partnerships
